Proof of Address (PoA): A utility bill or bank statement.
The 90-Day Iron Rule: Your PoA must be dated within the last 90 days. If it’s 91 days old, the AI bot will reject it instantly.
The 4-Corner Rule: Place your ID on a dark, flat surface. Ensure all four corners are in the photo. No fingers, no cropping, no “I’ll just scan the top half.”
Kill the Glare: Use natural light. If there’s a bright white reflection over your name or birthdate, the system triggers a manual review (adding 48 hours of wait time).
PDF > Photo: For your bank statement, upload the original digital PDF directly from your banking app. It has metadata that AI trusts more than a grainy photo.
Pepperstone’s ecosystem can be confusing if you don’t know where the “Master Key” is.
If you can see the charts but the “New Order” button is greyed out, you’ve made the classic mistake:
Master Password: Your “Key to the Vault.” Full trading rights.
Investor Password: The “Watcher’s Key.” Read-only. Great for showing off to friends; useless for making money.
The 10-Second Fix: If you forgot your Master Password, don’t hunt through old emails. Go to Client Area -> Accounts -> Settings and reset it manually in 5 seconds.
The Mobile App: Simplified login with email/password.
MT4/MT5/cTrader: This is where most fail. You must select the specific server prefix (e.g., Pepperstone-Live05).
UX Alert: Even inside the Pepperstone App, if you trigger the MT4 terminal, you still need to manually select that server. Check your “Welcome Email” for the exact server number.

The Same-Name Mandate: Deposits from a friend’s card or a business account not in your name will be instantly rejected. Pepperstone will return the money, and it can take 10 business days to see it again.
USDT Protocol: Pepperstone supports specific blockchains. Never send funds via “Internal Exchange Transfer”—always use a direct on-chain transaction to avoid losing your capital.
Withdrawal Lock: No verification (ID + 90-day PoA) = No Withdrawal. Period. Verify first, trade later.
